Marist College Kogarah is a Catholic school for boys that provides comprehensive education programs covering academic, arts, and sports subjects. Priding itself on state-of-the-art facilities, the school is continually upgrading its learning spaces and outdoor recreation areas to deliver modern, enjoyable, creative environments for students.
As part of this commitment to high-quality facilities, the school’s leadership team engaged Preferred Turf to deliver a new synthetic playing field that could be utilised for several different sports.
With our professional on-site support and design advice, we were able to make recommendations that ensured Marist College received the highest quality end result. Our expert team worked with the school to design a playing field that could cater specifically for futsal, volleyball and athletics, as well as function as a multi-purpose recreational space.
Nestled within the main quadrangle, the new synthetic turf surface utilises our 18mm Recreational Turf to bring new life to the tired asphalt surface. Volleyball and futsal line marking create a ready-made sports space with a unique inlaid school logo in the centre of the field. The perimeter of the field is finished in red synthetic turf, demarcating the running track from the main field area.
This project has significantly improved the overall amenity and aesthetics of the school grounds, and we are pleased to have been chosen as a trusted partner to deliver this multi-purpose field.
This brand new space allows all students to utilise the playground year-round, even during intense wet weather patterns like we have been witnessing in the past year. With such low maintenance requirements, it’s easy to see why staff love it too, offering long-term savings on upkeep and creating a softer, safer surface for students to enjoy.
We can offer advice on how to improve your school’s landscaped areas and playgrounds using synthetic grass and rubber, delivering more enjoyable, more creative spaces that require less maintenance (and save you money).
