Rubber & Metal Edging

If there’s one thing any self-respecting handyman should know, it’s that if you’re laying synthetic turf, edging is a must-have to keep everything looking neat and tidy. Not only will a lack of this leave your lawn masterpiece looking half-finished, but it can also result in your artificial grass sinking or lifting. So, here’s what you need to know. We have a range of products available, including rubber and metal garden edging strips in a range of colours, lengths and widths. Once you’ve got your artificial turf laid, simply press these strips into the ground – around its perimeter – using stakes pegs and pins to secure. The opposite side of the product can be backfilled using soil, sand, gravel or similar to provide additional support and prevent it from moving. Preferred Turf’s extensive range has everything you need for the do-it-yourself installation and maintenance of synthetic grass – from pins and pegs to adhesives, joining tape and more.
